David has been a professional musician for 25 years and has been teaching drum students since 1998. In addition to teaching at his studio, David has taught at East Metro Music Academy (EMMA) in St. Paul and Camden Music School in Minneapolis. Most recently, David founded Northeast Center for Music in Northeast Minneapolis. He also served as Music Director for Z Puppets Rosenschnoz from 2010-2016.
Outside of music, David worked in management, marketing & communications, and development for three Twin Cities nonprofits (Neighborhood Energy Consortium, YWCA of Minneapolis, and HousingLink) from 1998-2009.
David was awarded a Minnesota State Arts Board Artist Initiative grant in 2010, and a Preferred Choice and Seal of Excellence award from Creative Child Magazine for composing and recording the music for Z Puppets' Monkey Mind Pirates.
Sarah has been performing roots music around the Midwest since 2009 playing mandolin and guitar. She currently performs with the Wild Goose Chase Cloggers and with her father, Bill Cagley, and good family friend, Sandy Njoes, as Pride of the Prairie. She also teaches clogging lessons through Minneapolis Community Education, and also teaches private mandolin, guitar, and voice lessons.
Sarah’s family have been long-time members of the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old-Time Association and she recently spent 5 years on its Board of Directors. Sarah's education has focused on accounting practices of small businesses and nonprofits. She is a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and works as a freelance bookkeeper specializing in QuickBooks.
