    Voice, vocal ensemble

  • Since 2015 Alex Rack has been conducting and singing in a number of vocal ensembles in the Twin Cities including the Minnesota Renaissance Choir, Singers in Accord, The Macalester Chorale, ComMUSICation and the St. Clement’s Episcopal Church Choir. With a B.A. in music from Macalester College, Alex is trained in art song, opera, chamber ensembles, and choral singing. Since graduating, he has collaborated with a number of choral and opera musicians in the Twin Cities including Philip Zawisza, Kathy Romey, Yuri Ivan, Mark Stahura, and Michael McGaghie.

    Alex has a passion for instilling love of music in others. Every lesson caters to each student in order for them to improve, feel knowledgeable, and confident in their own voice. He has been teaching a variety of ages for years, and loves to discuss the history and cultural impact of music with individuals and ensembles.
